Seriously good news. Cadbury Dairy Milk is going Fairtrade soon. This is some undeniably good chocolate and the fact it wasn't fair trade was a bit of a conscience issue because the other stuff, tho guilt free, was not nearly as tasty. Check out http://www.cadbury.co.uk for more info. There is a good debate going on there. The sooner they get their other products like Fruit and Nut fairtrade too the better!!
I have just discovered a hole in the knees of my jeans, the main stay of my non working wardrobe! Sob! Having two young children means my jeans knees do take a pounding and the fact that I hurt my back y'day morning and have done even more floor time than normal, (if I can move from one place to the next without getting up, all the better) has probably pushed the fabric into meltdown. This will be the first time since I started the whole charity shop challenge that I do actually "need" something ............... so a pair of size 12 jeans please and long length. What is the chance?

So does Cadbury go fair trade after lent or before?
About the jeans, wouldn't the most eco-friendly approach be to patch those babies? Or is that too much of a 1980s look for you? I mean, you could patch them from the inside using a pair of jeans outgrown by one of the little people, right? Just a thought.
And I'll let you know if I do the same when I burst through mine. ;)
By the way, will be using my new shampoo today (it has been my allotted 3 days) and I'll let you know how it goes.
I have tried to patch before.....and it does not work well, I have ended up with tears around the patch. Do you stich, glue or what the patch on?
I hate day three!!
Oh and not till early autumn so the bars we bring you guys will still tug on your consciences!
“Besides, who would patch old clothing with new cloth? For the new patch would shrink and rip away from the old cloth, leaving an even bigger tear than before." Like the Man says there are some issues about patching - take the charity shop route - I'm sure there are a pair of jeans with your name on them just waiting for you!! ;)
people pay big bucks for rips in their jeans. you are the height of fashion i say!
